Removing Checkle menu from your Google listing

Trying to edit your menu on Google and Google says that your menu is coming from Checkle?

Below you'll find both video and written instructions on how to edit this.

Removing Checkle Menu from your Google listing

Why Google shows Checkle as the menu source

Google scrapes from Checkle's website and uses Checkle as a source to seed menu data on Google Business Listings that have not been updated or that are unclaimed. This can happen even if you're not a Checkle customer.

Checkle has no control over your Google Business listing. We will not be able to change anything about your Google Business listing unless you are a paid customer. However, you can easily edit where Google is pulling your menu from and overwrite the data Google sourced from Checkle.

How to change your menu source

To change the source for your menu data:

  1. Login to your Google Business profile on a computer.
  2. Click on Edit Menu.
  3. To confirm where Google is currently pulling your menu from, click on the Copy from website button.
    • It will say "checkle.com" at the top of the page.
  4. Click on Create or copy a menu.
  5. Choose between an existing menu from another source or click Create a new menu.
  6. Add the menus, sections, and items you'd like for Google to show on your Google Business listing.
  7. Hit Save and your changes should be reflected within 15 to 30 minutes.
